Charles Hernu, mayor of Villeurbanne, welcomes the Nouveau Musée in the new premises of the local school on Docteur Dolard Street. The renovation works undertaken by volunteers from the autumn of 1981 to the opening on May 1982. For this occasion, the Nouveau Musée offers an exhibition of six artists.
