Bernhard Rüdiger's sculpture, Petrolio (locus desertus), 2006, from the Institute's collection was the anchor point of the exhibition. The Institute also invited Bernhard Rüdiger to design a project for the whole château, drawing on the collections of the Institute, the Musée d’art moderne de Saint-Etienne Métropole and Château de la Bâtie d’Urfé.
Considered as one of the most exceptional and unusual sites in the Loire department, visitors were placed in a situation in which they experimented the spaces and works on a 'transhistorical' theme.
With the assistance of the Musée d'Art Moderne de Saint-Étienne Métropole.
